Hi guys, gave any if you used the a body disc brake spindle conversion and used the dust shield? I’m trying to find the diameter of the dust shield as I am using a 12” rotor from a magnum and if I did my homework correctly the a body is a 10”. I gues in a long about way, does anyone know if it will still work? Or just the dimensions, either one would be helpful. Thank you very much

The A body conversion is 10.87 and 11.75 for the rotor. The shield is only one size. They really aren’t needed and are a hinderance to brake cooling. So it’s up to you if you want to use them.

My next concern then would be if not using one how would I keep from frying the BJ boots ? Thanks

If it gets that hot, you’ve got other problems to worry about. Don’t sweat it, the boot will be just fine.
