Just installed new powerbrake booster in 1969 Roadrunner and blew out brake lines, what brake fluid would best for new install?

DOT 3 or DOT 4 are fine. DOT 4 has a higher temp rating and is prefered in ABS systems. I recall DOT 4 also has a slightly lower viscosity. The DOT 5 doesn't absorb moisture, but you shouldn't mix it with 3 or 4. I use Napa DOT 4 (made by Warrenlube). Just use new fluid and change it every other year to prevent moisture related issues.

I went with DOT 5. More expensive, but won't damage paint if you have a leak. Can't mix with others. no regrets

I have always used DOT 3 without any fluid related brake failure. Ever. Due to rear upgrade I am installing new disc brake system on the rear axle. I purchased a complete rear system from Dr. Diff and he recommended DOT 4. So I am going to DOT 4.
