Here's another tech topic . This time it's brakes. I haven't drive my runner for so long that I forget how the non-power brakes felt. So, my question is , would one recommend installing power brakes ? manual brakes? manual brakes w/ big bore master cyl? Just to leave out other discussion , I'll leave out cam / vaccum ideas. Here's what I got , 69 runner spd , front disc 12'' rear drum 12'' what's your thoughts guys ?

Why not? not to hard to do and it is your car so enjoy it.

So many people have never driven a car that doesn't have power brakes and abs that when I let them drive my old Belvedere they think something's wrong with the brakes. Usually scares the hell out of 'em. I start them out on the county roads so they can get a feel for it. I'm so used to it that I don't even notice anymore. I feel safe driving my old Bel around but you have to be a little better driver and drive more defensively.
