Has anyone had experience with the Brewers Hurst/Inland Conversion. The kit is intended to provide improved Hurst linkage but retain the stock Inland shift lever. So looks more OEM although reverse lockout will no longer function. See http://www.brewersperformance.com/products.php?cat=50

The application is my newly acquired 1966 Coronet Hemi 4sp. It had a noisy pilot bearing so I'm RR clutch, pressure plate, pilot, throwout and figured I'd upgrade the shifter as well.

I searched the forum and found positive comments about converted to Hurst Comp Plus but I didn't see mention of this conversion. Thanks for your help.

I am not familiar with this, but would like to learn more. I have the Inland console shifter, and have thought about changing to Hurst, but the shifter for the console is a hard item to obtain....

If it comes from Brewer it will work. I had thought of that for my 66 Dart. I can't seem to locate a shifter though.
