Bucket seat help

Im ready to order my new seat covers and need help... Please ???

When looking at rr bucket seat foam it shows 1970 and 71 use same foam
i have 1972 charger seats with buttons and want to use 71 or 72 rr tuck and role covers...
Please .. Is this possible ???

Not an expert but some 71's used 70 style seats. Later 71-2 seats are the same but the cool tuck and roll uses different foam. I was told that a competent upholsterer could reshape the foam to work from a 72. Another issue is the seat back release button and placement. Nacho had me lined out on this but I bought a 74 before doing anything. Wicharger website probably has a good thread on this.

I picked up a set of 73 rr bucket seats and what was said to be a set of 71 charger bucket seats seats.. But i think the 71's are realy 72 or newer because they both have the button patern,,
i would realy like the tuck and role type
im thinking get 72-74 foam and then the 72 rr tuck and role cover for they are very close to the 71 rr looks

please chime in and let me know what you all think

Ok I was told >>>> The easiest way to tell the difference between 71 and 72-74 seats is that the 71 seat have removable pot metal hinge covers on the sides with a button built in to release the back. The 72-74 seats have one piece plastic backs with the hinge covers molded into the back.
I now have 2 and 1/2 sets of bucket seats ....all have the one piece plastic backs with the hinge covers molded into the back
so the research is FINALY over and i can order my covers will post pics

ok I got everything ordered ..I ordered my covers threw Legendary.. I talked with a guy named Tony .. He informed me that they dont handle the 72-74 foam because the foam is poured onto or into the frames.. so I asked about the other venders that sell it and he said it must make it in sections or something he didnt know
so I ordered my 72 foam threw PG Classics ..had nothing but good reviews when I did a search... guys were very happy said everything fit like a glove..I added a link below of some guys that been threw this also and used PG classic foam

also legendary dont show 72 deluxe covers on their web site and even if you have the order number to punch in they dont show up..only 71's do....you need to go to their catalog here http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/files/ChryslerCatalog.pdf page A27 then call the order in on their 1-800 number ..
