Does anyone know if the 68/69 and 70 front Plymouth bumpers share the same profile along the bottom edge? I know it seems like an odd question, but I really need a front chin spoiler for my 70 Roadrunner and I CANNOT find anything. Randy at Spoliers by Randy makes one for the 68/69 but doesn't have one specifically for the 70. He says he has simply never tried it on a 70, so for all we know, it may fit, or fit with just a little tweaking.

Here are Randy's pix on a 69...

The top "rail" of the spoiler shown here sure looks like it would go on a 70.

Ideas? Thanks.

I looked at my 70 Road Runner front bumper and it doesn't look like it has the same "W" profile - it looks more straight. However, that doesn't mean the spoiler wouldn't fit. Good luck as I like your idea!

By the way, the car you pictured is project six pack. My father-in-law did the machine work for the motor back in the day. Now it says Six Pack Speed Shop, but it is supposed to say Shaw's Speed Shop. My father-in-law, Lou Terra, and his partner Bruce Shaw ran Shaw's Speed Shop. They worked on some cool cars...

great idea

What about the 69 Camaro front spoiler? Looks like it could be adapted to fit and is straighter than the 69RR. And as most Camaro parts is cheap and easy to find. I saw some chevelles that used the same spoiler adapted to fit. Let us know how it goes.

No, the bumpers are different, but that doesn't mean you can't adapt it. As long as you get a solid attachment in the middle and both ends & seal the gaps for the airflow, you'll probably get it to work.

COOL!

I'm gonna order one of those Camaro spoilers to see what happens. SlinktRR is right. Cheap - $35.00! There are moments when I think it would be nice to own a Chevy. (They happen mostly when I'm at the computer, not in the garage).
