C pillar Charger emblems

My car was restored when I bought it but whoever did it never put the emblems on the C pillar. They did come with the car. What's the best way to attach them? Drill holes and use inserts? Loosen the headliner so I can get nuts on the spikes? Trim the spikes and glue them on?

I would pull the headliner on the edges and see were they bondo is coming threw the holes. Once you do that install and fix your headliner. Thats what I would do. Be careful not to ruin your paint job.

The car has a vinyl roof. The quarters were replaced. Do replacement quarters come pre punched to receive the emblems so that I could find the holes from the inside?

My AMD quarters did not have the predrilled holes. Glad I saved the old quarters to use as a reference.
