i know this probably doesnt belong here but i need a straight friggin answer once and for all. i cant get a direct answer anywhere else and these morons at summit and mopar performance dont seem to really know.

SUMMIT RACING has small block and big block (70-77) flat tappet hydraulic lifters under the same exact part number

MOPAR PERFORMANCE only has a part number for Small Block lifters and i dont have a MP part number for a Big Block hydraulic lifter. and nobody seems to have a part number for BB lifters

I am being told that SB and BB lifters are DIFFERENT lifters and the BB are .075 deeper than a small block

does anyone know wheat the deal is here? man i am frustrated BEYOND BELIEF.

~~again~~SUMMIT is selling ONE lifter for ALL big and small blocks

~~again~~i am told MOPAR PERFORMANCE has TWO part numbers, ONE for SB and ONE for BB and they are DIFFERENT?

please help
THANK YOU !!!!:sad4:

Later model after 67 big and small block lifters are the same for some manufactures.

i always thought they were the same, but what do i know? the '67 and earlier had a smaller push rod cup in the tappet.

thanks. i am just going to have to buy a few different ones and find out myself i guess
