Hey guys. Need to get a cover for my car. Anyone have/use this one. Do you like it or recommend a different one. My car will be inside 99% of the time but there may be a time when it will be outdoors for a short period of time.

Thanks in advance,
Roger

I didn't buy that one and can't say anything either way about it. I bought a California Car Cover made here. I bought the dust top version cause mine is garaged most of the time as well. They don't come any better - not cheap though. I think I paid around $250 for it. Google it if you want to compare.

I don't have that exact one but I can tell you when it comes to covers - you get what you pay for. Some real junk and mis-represented covers out there. A good in/out cover will run several hundred. If your worried about 1% I would get a good indoor like the dust top mentioned and leave it uncovered outside. Also, outdoor covers are typically stiff and an PIA to get on the car by yourself.

My car cover days are behind me. The really good ones like the old Evolution 4 Technylon are somewhat good for outdoor protection, but you do some harm in getting them off and on the car with feather scratches. Like 69L48Z27 mentions, these covers are cumbersome to put on and remove, and if they drag the ground pick up dirt and fine sand that again can scratch your paint.

Another issue about outdoor covers used outdoors is washing them and keeping them clean. You need to visit a laundry mat that has the super large capacity washers and keep the cover clean if used outdoors, or you again harm the paint with a dirty car cover.

Even the outdoor 'breathable' covers keep moisture against the paint if a long term weather condition exists.

My two cents: an outdoor car cover does more harm then good over the long term.

Thanks Guys. I went ahead and bought this one. If anyone wants a review on this one let me know.

Thanks,
Roger
