Hey everyone, I have a 20x12 ? tuff shed and I want to beef it up to keep my charger in it so any carpenters out there I need some advice. it's got plywood flooring so if I lay 3/4 inch plywood over the exsisting plywood floor will it beef it up to a higher load bearing? I had ceramic tile put down in a house with a basement and thats what they did to make it work.

that I do not know, if its like most lumber sheds it probably has the minimum. I'd guess 2ft center to center 2x6 joists, the weathers been crummy so I havent poked my head underneath to look, the dog dug a big hole under it to chase a rabbit lol. or I could pry up the decking and look but thats going to be a pain as it nailed down not screwed.

Look under it if you can. If it's 2x6 16" on center add the 3/4 plywood and you will be fine

Also check what ever the shed was set on to level it. Will it support the load? 2x12's will work just as well as plywood 1 under each wheel track and are much cheaper than plywood.
Tough sheds are built pretty sturdy. They claim you could park your car on top of it if so inclined.

@mopar 3 b good point. it sits on stacked slabs of cinder block material, like the lintles and they sit on the bare ground. I was thinking of using those big treated lumber 6x6 8x8? dont know the size of them for sure but I have a few of those that might reach all the way underneath side to side

6x6 will be large enough. Run them 90° to the floor joist and as close to the cars wheel track as possible.
