Well if I can weld repair it I'll do that or should I leave it? Just paid $450.00 for the housing so it needs to be fixed.

Swamp, that's a lot of money for a cracked housing even though it's minor and then getting a used flywheel serviced. I don't know what the charges are and including the cost of both pcs. but you could have probably bought a new steel 10-1/2" X18lbs sfi wheel and there are all kinds of 10-1/2 housings laying around. I have a 10.95 clutch/PP on mine. Ever thought about taking the cracked housing etc. back for a refund? Good luck.

that crack can be ground out and welded up ok . if you have never welded cast read up proper procedure for cast .

I'd highly advise on welding that up ! Before you loose the housing. Big blocks are touq monster's touq will rip that in half

Grind the cracks get you a container big enough for the bell to fit with about 6” of space around it. Two bags of dry sand, heat that bitch up cherry red at the cracked area and weld with a 7018
rod then immediately in the container and cover with sand and walk away. Do that process for each crack and you’ll be all set.
