Catholic Dog

Muldoon lived alone in the Irish countryside with only a pet dog for company.. One day the dog died, and Muldoon went to the parish priest and asked, 'Father, my dog is dead... Could ya' be saying' a mass for the poor creature?'

Father Patrick replied, 'I'm afraid not; we cannot have services for an animal in the church.... But there are some Baptists down the lane, and there's no tellin' what they believe. Maybe they'll do something for the creature.'

Muldoon said, 'I'll go right away Father. Do ya' think $5,000 is enough to donate to them for the service?'

Father Patrick exclaimed, 'Sweet Mary, Mother of Jesus! Why didn't ya tell me the dog was Catholic ?

A good Catholic will tithe 10%, [but God will love you more if you give 15!]
BTW, dogs go to heaven anyways 'cause they have souls, cats DONT!

As an avowed cat owner;I totally disagree with that statement! I've had dogs and cats;both are great, but I prefer the felines.

Cats have souls;they just don't want anyone to realize that.

A cat will eat you if you die sitting in your favorite easy chair....a dog will sit beside you until someone comes looking for ya. :D Before you throw rocks at me, I'm a cat lover too and have had dogs but nowadays, dogs make too much noise for me lol. Most people like to shoot these, but they made cool pets....and are mostly quiet lol
