I see pressing the center console lock button over the years has resulted in breaking off all three plastic tabs that the three screws thread into on the bottom of the door. Anyone engineered a permanent fix to this annoyance?

Chrysler didn't expect people to drive these cars more than 7-8 years. Shows what they know!

Yep buy a new door from Tony's Mopar

Maybe try JB Weld. I never had a problem with my console door, even with a girl sitting on top of it for many years when out cruising back in the day, of course, I never have attempted to take those screws out either.

I've had some luck with this product. The black bottle has granules for plastic and the gray bottle has granules for metal. It is the only super glue product that I can get to work on anything but skin. My Niece has a 70 Challenger that had the same issue as yours. I glued those studs back in place and built up around them to make them better than new. As far I know it has not failed again. NAPA sells this kit for about $12.00 I think. It has been a while since I bought it so not real sure about the price.100_7464.jpg
