would i have to change my push rods to match hydraulic roller cam? thanks

Almost for sure yes. To be sure, put a hydraulic lifter next to a roller lifter & see if the height (contact top to contact bottom) is the same. If you have adjustable rockers and the height difference is very, very close, you'd be OK..... but that is a LONG SHOT I think. Another way to be sure would be to check the length of the recommended push rods online and see how close they are.

Pushrods will be way shorter. Not to mention you'll need a cam button, bronze distributor gear, and 3 bolt timing chain. Probably more valve spring also depending on what you have.

Also if you have stock stuff you'll need adj rockers. hyd roller cams usually have decent lift, if you have stock heads the guides will need cut down. I'm just pointing out all the simple stuff not knowing your present combo. It's defiantly not a just shove it in and go deal.

I went the hyd roller had to clearance heads because of different push rod angles. 10 degree locks
