I have a pair of 1971 RT Doors that I snagged from a salvage yard oh about 20 years ago (went back a week later and the car had been crushed...) and now my son is starting to fix up my old 72 Charger and wants to put these doors on it (I crashed it oh about 20 years ago and it needs doors). Unfortunately someone thought they were good at bondo proly 30 years ago and the lower corners are mostly hole with plastic filler installed. I know 20 years ago most of this stuff was not available but now it is a wonderland of available parts.
That being said, is there a place with replacement door repair parts? Or do you know of any DIY videos/website showing how to make this repair?
I know we can do it pretty easy but it is always nice to see how someone else did it first so later on you do not say "Man I wish I knew that when I did mine!!!"

Thanks

Theres a sticky at the top of the members projects and restoration section thats titled sheet metal sources. Thats a good place to start.
Now, are the doors banged up and wavey or just rust on the bottom edge? Are the door shells good and just the skin is rotted? Pics would help. But im sure small patches can be made to eliminate the need for. Whole skin

Just a little skin rot near the corner holes. Doors are really straight other than that.
Thanks for the direction where to look for the sheet metal repair stuff. I am headed there next. Like always, super busy and I kinda figured it was on here someplace, just not enough time to sit and look.

Thanks again. I will try to post some door pics later.
