I wouldn't consider it fully restored unless he replaced the burnt out dome light!:rolling::rolling:
What gets me is he didn't post any pic of the whole car???.

There's also one listed as a "survivor" that has burnt off paint, shredded interior, and locked up motor with parts missing. I think that's a far stretch to say it survuved.

Still here and restorable, maybe...

I also love the term "no rust", that can mean the bondo's already been put over it for you.

I've also seen "all original" inn the first paragraph and "bored .30 over" and "new quarter panels" in the second.

I thought it strange that he couldn't find a decent bigger engine??? but he went ahead and rebuilt the genuine low milage small block.

One thing's for sure.....lets hope he never gets a job as a photographer for a Car Magazine.

You know, I understand maybe he doesn't know what each word means.
I really can't figure out how to "refurbish" an engine other than a PVC valve and a new air cleaner element, and bolt in stuff but I would call that a "tune up".
And when you repaint the body thats the end of survivor.

no rust, but I replaced the trunk floor and tail panel????

I'm really depressed about my car, which is about 5 dents and a locked up motor from being a survivor. The underhood could be a reference as to what goes where and how, but alas, won't turn over. Clock says 83,000.

I'm now questioning what I thought was a repaint, as I can only see evidence of a run in the underside of trunk lid. Might have been minor body work, definately pre-1974.

Would it hurt the guy to take a friggin picture of the WHOLE car?
