Hey guys
Spent a month in Florida this winter. Buyed some older classics and shipped back home to Sweden.
Was lucky enough to find a 1966 Charger sitting in a backyard in Deltona.
Was original a 383 but now it has a 440
Needs some tlc but it runs and drives. Very little rust
Found classic Centerlines that I put on
I plan to keep the rough look and will not repaint it. At least for now
It's a keeper :)

What to do?
New carpets. Buyed the big kit with all parts
Weld a rust hole behind passenger seat
Replace valve lifters
Replace master cylinder, brake cylinders, brake lines and shoes
Replace ignition parts
Fix some oil leaks
Think front end needs some attention also

Santas list
Remove engine for control, other camshaft and paint
Headers(if possible)
2.5" exhaust
New tail lights

Looks great!! Not many of those around, even back when they were new. Enjoy crossing things off the list!

Welcome and have fun fixing the car - lots of good people here to ask questions if you need the help!

Welcome to FBBO. Great find. I think I saw the guy with no shirt on an episode of cops.

welcome to FBBO from warm & sunny NorCal
good luck on the 66 Charger project

Welcome from Minnesota.

Love that body style. Congrats and welcome from the corrupt state of New Jersey !!!!

WELCOME, I LOVE THE EARLY CHARGERS. good luck with your cars. I cant imagine having to go to a different country to get a car, you guys MUST be tough.

hi and welcome to the site :headbang:

Welcome! Car looks nice and solid from the pics. Have fun!

Welcome from stockholm! If you're buying things to ship - let's do it together to try to lower shipping and vat. I'm working quite frequently in the US and always have some space in my suitcases. Like a blower :) (actually I've done that. Brought a Procharger in my carry-on lol)

Nice 66! I used to have one that looked alot like yours. Wish i still had it, but it went to a good home.

Thanks for all the welcomes and words :)

Eric383 It felt a little like "cops" up there but nice people
The Charger used to belong to his father who had passed away and now he, his mother and brother started to clean up. The man had collected pretty much everything.

I'll start a tread about the Charger but won't be able to do so much work in the nearest time. I also buyed a 1971 Ford F250 that needs some work and then put it out for sale. Hopefully it will pay my trip and stay in Florida.
Also buyed a 1965 Chrysler Newport with a blown 383 engine but that one have to wait until I find another engine or parts for it.
