Christmas shopping

I just returned home from a shopping expedition to grab a few essentials for next week....you know, stuff like cornflakes & beer.

As I was walking out of the supermarket, I thought about grabbing a lottery ticket for the weekend. I paid the $20, and the pleasant smiling middle-aged Chinese lady asked me "Is there anything else I can do for You?"

I smiled and replied....."No, just my change thanks."

I gotta stop reading too much into what people say.

About 20 years ago shopping for lingerie for the wife at Christmas. Went into a store, stared at stuff for awhile and two of the gals working the store asked if they could help me. I said it's pretty difficult to buy this stuff without seeing what it looks like and they happily grabbed stuff off the shelves, put it on and modeled same! Figured they worked for commission.. but they did well that day!! LOL

I did something similar in London about 30 years ago....searching out a bra for my wife (then gf) and the young good looking assistant asked me what size I needed. I did the old "two hands cupped and against her boobies", and said...."about the same as yours actually"

She smiled, and happily gift wrapped them for me.
True story...and I got a lot of laughs after that from my wife.
