Has anyone had success with "spray can chrome"?

The cap on the cans look perfect, but the parts come out looking like grey paint.

Maybe good looking chrome is not possible from a can..Melowto (or something like that) makes a marker that is good, but broad surfaces are a challenge.

Every single chrome spray bomb paint I have tried looks like $hit. Maybe would work for a low budget rat rod, or temporary cover up, but that's about it in my world.

Some people have been happy with Molotow Chrome when using it on interior trim. It’s available in pen and the refills can be used in an airbrush. I have seen some results and they look next level better than the rattle can paints. You might use this product, depending on the part/piece you want to paint. I have not personally used this product, but would give it a try.

There's a thread here or FABO that has a youtube comparing results.

I ordered VHT based on that but haven't tried it yet.

It ranked second place but was much easier to find.
