chrome tips

I need to put my chrome tips on my 70' GTX and I'm not sure how far the tip extended out the rear of the car. does anyone know this measurement?

This for a 69 Coronet R/T. This is critical, nothing worse than tips out too far.

I think you'll find that the angle bracket locates into a rubber bush, and that pretty much sets the distance.
