Clips for the windshield trim

These are hard to get off, a lot of them are rusted. What do you guys do to get them out, do you drill them out? Some of them come out OK but I have some where the head of the screw are totally ruined. The only thing I can think of is to try and drill them out? I ordered new clips to replace them with.

Left hand drill bits should run them out. Mcmaster-Carr
