Hi everyone. I’ve been a member here for a few years since I’ve picked up my 74 Satellite. I’ve been enjoying it since I picked it up but now looking to make a change. I’m looking for any do’s/do nots, tips, tricks advise on moving my column shift 3spd manual to a floor shift. It’s an all factory 318 car, just looking to make it a little more fun. What I’m thinking is a new tranny hump from brewers, I picked up a hurst Indy 3spd shifter that will mount on the more forward position on the tail shaft(since there are two mounting positions) new carpet, and a new column. Is there anything I’m forgetting or overlooking? Id like for it to be floor shift with bucket seats and NO counsel. I’m not trying to make it into something it’s not, I just wanna add a little cool factor to it. I know the shifter will not look factory but I would like it to look as close as possible to factory as it can. I really appreciate any advice or replies. Thanks, Jason
