Cool article about 66 Chargers.

I built 2 '66 Chargers, my buddy 3 houses down had one also ! We loved those cars, I had my 1st one towed home when I was 14, I had bought a few early Hemi engines about a year and half earlier ! Didn't have the skills at that point & couldn't get it to fit ( I got the engine/727 in with a B&M adapter bolted in no problem but no room for exhaust / I wasn't cutting the inner structure out ) - I was 1 depressed Mopar teenager, but I regrouped and went with a 440 and the Automatic / built another 1 in my early 20's ! We knew where every Charger was in parts yards and a few complete cars I'd like to have bought, 1 in particular was Original black with white interior 4-speed car w/ A/C, Power windows. Sat for years in a field in great shape , couldn't find the owner ! ****, I wish I had all the parts we stashed & saved for years - I'd love to be able to give to them to someone ! Cool Cool Mopars - I'm too old, crippled up now - closed my shop, selling my '70 R/T now , my '65 Coronet Convertible will be my last Mopar after 50+ yrs of living & loving Mopars - I hope I get dementia or something because I don't want to think about it anymore ( I'm getting there, I have long covid and CRS decease is already setting in ! ) So chrger1967 , if I don't know ? Better off , it sucks watching them go away ‍♂️

Sounds like you grew up at a prime time for these cars. Don't wish that you get dementia, just because you can't work on them anymore or enjoy them, doesn't mean you have to forget them. Thats what memories are for, for you to always remember what you did in your life, don't wish them away. If you want, for a small fee, (And I don't do this for just anyone) I can come and pick up your Charger and use it for the next few years until I can't do it anymore. I'm 60, so who knows how long that's gonna be. Let me know and I will be there tomorrow to pick it up.
