Cork gasket for timing chain

Is it possible to slip the cork gasket under the timing chain cover on a 440 with the motor all together? Just trying to avoid having to disassemble everything just to get that piece in if possible.

Here is were you need to get to.
Clean off all of the old gasket. Mine here still has a few pieces to scrape off. Place a rag over the pan front to keep crap out.
You can leave the pan in place as long as the pan gasket stays in one piece.
Wipe the pan gasket off with some degreaser and put a thin film of silicone on it during assembly.
