Good evening: Did the 1971 doge charger hood pin plate come with 3 screws or four? I've seen both lately. But four screws seems to be the most cpommon.

Thanks!

Mark

4 and its a beveled plate not flat.

The correct bezels look like this.

.....and before you drill in the wrong place, like so many do.....

.....look at the under side of the hood and you will see the correct location clearly laid out as there is a "hole" already stamped in the bracing.

Thank you for the information--will do. Also, any suggestions as to the best place to purchase an authentic hood pin set up for the 71 Charger RT?

YIKES!

Should be plenty of repros for a lot less.

...but OEM chrome will probably way outlast any "new" chrome.

If you need driver quality, put an ad here and on FABO.

I got a driver quality set for $10 minus the lanyards, which are generic and can be made cheap or use the repro since it's not "chrome"!

Thanks, but how about an aftermarket kit that is a bit cheaper?!

A set usually goes for around $50. Some vendors are priced higher, but if you shop around you can get a decent deal on them.
