Correct Position of Parked Wiper Blades?

I just noticed the wiper blades on my '72 SSP are stopped after just passing over those little "speed bump" things (chrome/stainless steel). Is that right or are they supposed to stop before or on top of the speed bumps? Thank you.

They should be most hidden in park position

It could get in touch with the molding provisions for them to stop. The voltage variation, the wet the glass is, the wiper rubber and the pivots conditions aside the linkage bushing conditions ( play all around ) could make difference about how exact they stop on same point, but as soon they hide down the hood over the molding and don't get in touch with mold while working, you are good.

On 2 speeds also the parking cancelling cam assembly conditions could make difference

Thanks everyone for the responses so far, but I still have my doubts so I will include fotos (which I should have done from the beginning).

There are two shiny metal raised areas inside the cowl which I will call "speed bumps" (see fotos). The wiper blades are now parked/stationed behind/under these speed bumps.

I don't ever use my wiper blades, so I don't know how or when they were parked that way. My question is whether the wiper blades should be stopped where they are in the fotos, or more on top or above the "speed bumps"? Thanks again.

Those are stops, wiper should park above those. Remove the arms from the pivots and position them on the molding above the stops while parked.

Yeap! Wiper arms need to be reindexed on pivots. Just 1 spline off should make the job
