I met a waitress in Tijuana that had been milking cows for her uncle in Aguascalientes, Mexico. I had never seen a girl with hands so calloused before.

Oh God I hate milking cows it's seriously the worst ! All bent over !
Nasty stinking cow taking a dump near your face !

I've known several folks who worked on dairy farms and I have relatives that have cows.

Cows want to be milked.

They get real friendly around milking time.

I'm sure they figured out how to operate the machine fairly quickly.

I run a dairy farm.

We still work with the older automatic takeoff tie stall barn.

I want to switch to this robotic system.

The cows take awhile to get used to the robot. Some cows cannot handle the robot and refuse to use the robot. (Cow gets sold)
First time fresh cows need to be guided to the robot and somewhat taught how to use it.

Then there are cows that their teats are too close together and the robot cannot milk that cow (cow is sold)

There is now a breeding program to breed robot specific cows so their teats are spaced better.
