Craftsman tool sale at Lowes.

Yesterday I bought a 230 piece Craftsman tool kit in a plastic three drawer toolbox for 99 bucks. A nice box to take in the car,or restock the main toolbox.

I've got one of those kits, they are decent. I was able to take the sockets and misc stuff from the kit, put it in my toolbox, and sell the plastic drawer. Great value for the price.

I bought two of them, one to restock the toolbox, and one to use as a travel kit. The box is compact enough to put in the trunk and won't dent the rear quarters like a metal toolbox could. I also bought the Harbor Freight aluminum floor jack and a breaker bar for changing tires on the road. A fire extinguisher ,a hammer, some pliers and vise grips complete the travel kit.

Perfect for the trunk on road trips. Plastic won’t dent things if it slides around. Better than the carry bag I use. I got the bigger 262 piece, because it came with spark plug sockets too. Thanks for the heads up. BTW I ordered online and it was free shipping.

Great deals on Craftsman stuff there recently, I totally agree.
My son pointed out this deal I took advantage of for our little summer getaway place we have up north.

I have one in the truck I work out of… broke 3 3/8 ratchets in a year normal use (no pipes on them lol)… Got new ones for free but quality is nothing like they were..

In stores near me, there are several small to medium kits with "yellow tag" clearance prices.

Sometimes, the replacement model, often with one or two more "pieces" is right next to it for 40% more.
