That would make a fun Street/strip build? Easier to doll up a bit for some street bling. Than to take a beat up street car and make it some what strip worthy too.
I would put some paint on? Not sure what? Not a bad candidate to try a home spray? See if I have any talents with the "Arts?"
Yea it would be cool to gain some paint skills. That might be a good idea. I like the B5 blue that would be my choice. Hell its only 10k. I've seen worse cars for more money.
Could be made into a very cool pro street car! Reminds me of Mike Pardue's RR I follow on Instagram. @stealth.roadrunner
Looks a lot like a car that a guy named Jim owned in California had to have been 12-15 years ago. He got it out of the San Diego area IIRC.
I'm only about 3k deep in funds right now. I'm still hunting just looking for something in my current price range. Figured I would share the ones I can't afford. I save money that I make outside of my regular paycheck. I don't like to use house funds for play toys. But only have 7 more years on my mortgage.. So maybe after that is paid off I can play. lol Or a smart thing to do would be pay the 3k on the mortgage and make that come down a bit.
Familiar with Mike's car, he is local here. I haven't seen it at Irwindale for a long time though, and I don't do Instagram. "When are you gonna paint it? It IS painted!"
Be a great start to a pro-street or a racecar... lots of fiberglass panels, doors fenders decklid & hood it should be light Dana-60 ++
I wonder if it has a fender tag ? It does say it actually dosen't have a title ? I wonder if it still has a VIN ? It looks to be mig welded I can see the thick weld/bead buildup from the few photos I saw he posted & the add it looks to be a home build too
That Roadrunner could race against this Chevelle, if it had an engine and trans.. The Chevelle came with engine and trans for $6K. With a total investment ceiling of $20K in each car, I wonder which would be the winner of the best of three 1/4 mile runs.. $20K of 60s Roadrunner vs $20k of 60s Chevelle.. Both cars have drivers of matched skill.. I am thinking the Roadrunner seller might have to come down on his price for the Beep Beep car to be competitive. Sounds like the makings for an entertaining YouTube video.
