Don't have much anymore but what I did have was mostly bought and given to me by family and friends until I said enough....I'm not that big of a fan lol. Anyways, this Smokin' Joe's sign was above the door of the local convenience store and I tried to buy it for a pretty long time. Well, one night after they closed, a friend and I went there and backed up to the door with his pickup and helped ourselves after a few beers. Well, maybe more than a few.
After a couple of days or so I went there to buy some beer and mentioned that someone took my sign and the camel jock behind the counter just laughed. Did he know? Never saw any cameras around except for inside and at the register. Oh well. The place has changed hands many times since then and I haven't been there after the 3rd new owner took over and was a total jerk. They don't even have gas anymore.
I was a fan of Jimmy Spencer and really wanted the sign. Imo, he was one of the drivers that didn't take crap from anyone....and even though I don't smoke, he was one of the few that had a lighter in the race car and thought that was pretty cool. The sign is over the door inside of my 'clean' (not so clean anymore) room and has been ever since.
