custom tail lights for a 73 charger

was wondering if anyone made custom tail lights for their charger I was thinking of doing led sequential tail lights and maybe tryin to do a led outline kinda like the new chargers have but don't know what I should use for lenses either lexan or prismatic and if I should do clear and paint them red or red dyed any thoughts would be great

Tail lights will work with LEDs, but I've heard of issues people have had when trying to use LEDs as turn signals. The stock flasher units don't like them.

The led bulbs need to be individually grounded for them to work .
I would suggest going scrap yardhunting for the newer charger lights and retrofit them in. I wanted to do this till I finally got a nice set of r/t tail lights and my other 74 is going to be stock so o.e. tail lights are going to have to do .
If you want measurements I have both a new charger here and two old ones just p.m. me and I'll brake out the measuring tape
