WTB CYCLONE PURPLE HORNIES

does anyone know where I can get a pair of cyclone purple hornies, not the new ones but the old 4 foot long ones from the 70's , new old stock or even a used old pair

I knew lots of guys running Purple Hornies back in the 70's, don't recall, any being 4 foot long... More like 30-36"...

my sister had a pair on her 340 duster she bought new my brother inlaw took them off after getting harassed by the police I remember them about chest level when I stood them up , they came out behind the door you could mount them pointing down on the ground or turn them to exhaust out the side after the class burned out I could put my arm in the pipe

I had them in the late seventies, the ones that bolted right to the headers. I doubt if they were even three feet long.
They were on my warm 289 mustang.
If you wound the RPM up that thing sounded fantastic!

Not hornies but Amazon had Smithys. I put them on my 58 powerwagon 392 Hemi

Doubt if there are any Purple Hornies to be had. These were the closest I could find for my ZL1 clone needs. Might work for you. At the end of the Vet video, you can hear them. Not bad. Not cheap.

I checked their site out. The Cobra pack looks like it would be pretty good for what you want. Paint them purple...

Cherry bomb collector muffler is the closest thing I’ve found they have a 4” outlet I might use them on a coupe I’m building with a early Hemi in it
Still hoping to find some 4” purple horsies though
