DAD AT THE MALL
I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes, (he's 92). We decided to grab a bite at the food court when I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, blue and pink. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.
When the teenager had had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter, old man? Never did anything wild in your life?"
I swallowed my food quickly so I wouldn't choke when I heard his response, knowing Dad would have a good one. In classic style he didn't even bat an eye when giving his response. "Sure did. About 15 yrs ago; I got drunk, had sex with a peacock, and can't stop wondering if you're my son."
