Good day fellow mopar lovers, I just wanted to thankyou all for having this site to come to.Im a almost 54 year old truck driver that has a sad story. my wife is disabled. and im working on year 3 of the 5 the doctor gave me to live. ive always done my best to help my family, maybe too much. i worked many yrs saving what i could to get my dream car, a 68 dodge charger, but and i owned it for over 17 yrs, but due to my worthless sons i had to sell it to keep my house and wife going . because they borrowed money from me and never paid it back, i never got to drive it only from time to time working on it with the few dollars they did not get from me. well about a year ago i was able to save up some money to get a 1974 road runner, not a big block just a 318. and after a job loss and id thieft and loosing almost everything we owned it was the best thing to ever happen to me. then i learned about my health and needless to say it was a huge shock. finding out from my doc that i had maybe 5 yrs left if i was lucky.well like always things went bad again and i had to sell it because my sons would not pay me the money they borrowed , but they kept getting money from me by useing my grand children as a weapon aginst me, knowing i would do anything to help those little children.that car was the only real joy i had in my life and now its gone for ever, and i know il never be able to get another, lol just dont have the time. so just a bit of advise for what ever its worth , dont lend money to family and what ever you do hold on to your car because it may be the last one you ever get.mine was no 440 ground pounder but she looked great and ran just fine for me, there was no place i could go and not have people telling me how much they liked it and breaking their necks to get a good look as i drove by. man that felt good, but now my joy in life is gone.so do what ever you need to to keep your mopar, injoy it every day ! do me one favor give that gas pedal a good push down for me. thanks guys. id love to see your mopars if you would like to send me a pic. pics of mine is all i have left now and id like to know others are still enjoying theirs. ........... I feel your pain. My kids are good about money, thank God. I had congestive heart failure about 3 years ago and also found out that I have had 2 heart attacks. after two weeks in our local hospital, I was sent to Boston via Ambulance I spent another two weeks there for testing. At the end of two more weeks, I was told by the Cardiac Team, there was nothing that they could do for me other than a ton of pills to take everyday and an implanted ICD. I made my peace with my maker figuring that I did not have much time, as only about 15% of my heart was working, the rest of it was severely damaged. It was then that I decided to hell with it. I'm going to live life as best that I can. I just recently cashed in a retirement account and after taxes, I went shopping for a mopar, as I had had a 1970 RR many years ago. I found and bought a 1969 Plymouth Satellite Sport, 3182V and an automatic with the shifter on the colum. I am real happy with it, but, cannot get into it and tear down things as I would like, but, have friends to help me, Thankfully. You hang in there. I wish you all of the best!

Yeah, I'm sorry for your situation, As far as I know, I don't have anything life threatening, but I do know about rotten offspring. I did everything I could for my 2 sons, and now that they are adults, they don't speak to me. I guess it's better than having them ruin me financially. You have to just say no. they won't stop until you do. If you are afraid they won't talk to you if you don't give them money, you're right. They won't.

Welcome aboard and thanks for joining!
Hoping all goes well for you and your family!
