I have a Dakota digital gauge cluster for my 70 Roadrunner. It has been a while since I looked at the instructions and contents of the kit. For any of you who have installed it, I am asking if the "new setup" involved in installing it will resolve these issues:
My water temperature gauge "checks in" (and signs out) erratically. IOW sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Also, especially when the outside temperature is in the 40s or colder, sometimes the only gauges that work are my aftermarket tach and alternator gauge, and all of the other ones don't, or work sporadically. In a perfect world, I would have all of my gauge related wiring checked and whatever is required fixed, but I am thinking that the process of installing the Dakota cluster will inherently address some or all of these issues.
For those of you who have installed one, what should I expect in this regard? Thanks
