I met my spouse at a Community College country western dance class in El Paso, Texas (1987). Met my first girl (she was a frosh) as a high school sophomore at a school sponsored dance after the Friday night football game (1970). Only rcv'd one fake phone number during all my dating years from a "Rhonda". The few blind dates I agreed to accept were all a disaster. I always had to make the first move to make it work. Back circa 1990, I ran into a very outdated/innocent booklet tutorial from way back that explained how to kiss (unfortunately, I lost it somewhere along the way).

Dating advice as a novice teen...buy a hemi and date older women, like in their 20s, maybe 30s old.

They couldn't make this movie today and the teens be old enough to watch it without parental consent.

I was kind of a late bloomer, at least partially because I found girls my age to be petty and superficial.
At 15, my first "real" girlfriend was 18.
Didn't last very long, but ever since, I had MUCH better luck with girls/women 2-3 years older than me.
In my 20's, I even dated women in their 30's and 40's.
Let me tell, ya...some of that was real gooooooooood.
My wife of 19 years (25 together) is 2.5 years older.

My first date with my last ex wife was me asking her to go out for a motorcycle ride. I was so broke I could only afford a gallon of gas, $.98 cents at the time. I tricked her and got ten years and two kids out of that one before she wised up caught on to me....
