Daytona headlight buckets

Do the Daytona headlight have a spring to open the head light buckets if you lose vacuum? If there is no vacuum how do they stay open?

Yes, the spring pops the doors up.
It’s a safety feature.

Does anyone know where to get those springs or what they look like?

Boy those look like the springs on the window regulators. i will look at the sets I have

They were unique to the Daytona and Bird, IIRC.
