Dealer codes

Hi, I Have a 65 Coronet and am wondering if anyone knows what the dealer codes are from that era. The glove box maintanence plate has some numbers on it and I would like to find out where the car came from. I`ll post the numbers on here when i get a chance. Thanks!

Hi, Sorry it took so long to get the codes, busy, busy! 57316, 52924, 50906(last number maybe an 8), 63707 or 63207. The numbers are a little hard to read but the first code is right. Thanks for your help.

My book has some dealer/sales codes for 65, nothing with 5 digits though.... they're based around fender tag details.

I can barely read mine but makes me curious. It looks like each dealer had a code and used that when they serviced the car and annotated what service was done and at what mileage.

Dealer codes wer the numbers assigned to the dealership by Chrysler for all things necessary between them. The number is on the IBM card and the original warranty card/certicard but not on the BS or fender tag. There was a list of dealer code numbers on the web here a while back. If I can locate it I will post it.
