If someone has already posted this animal I apologize. I must say at first I was frightened but now it's kinda Cool.

Not really to my taste but I think it is cool when people build out of the norm. Kind of what makes it a fun hobby for everyone. I try to not knock other peoples visions.

3rd time but who's counting.

It does confirm some of the rumors (and what I've suspected) that there's a lot more interchange between gen 3 and gen 4 than is commonly understood.

It was even briefly mentioned on GYC last week, specifically about the windshield.

I'm currently looking for a gen 4 T top roof for my 72.

I always thought a complete 68 GTX front end would look cool on a 68 coronet R/T....... and I believe it would bolt right up perfectly

I recall putting a 68 Battacuda front clip on a 68 Valiant. It worked. The only reason I did it was because the rear of the Barracuda was wrecked.
I assume the valiant nose would have bolted to the Barracuda but I never tried it.

67-69 Valiant (NOT Barracuda) and 70-76 Duster, and scamp as well as 67-69 Dart and 70-76 Dart, Demon, and Dart Sport all share the same body lines on the fenders and doors.

67-69 Barracuda is rounded not squared and does not have the body lines.

There was a 68 Charger front clip on a 70 Coronet at Don Garlits for a few years circa 1990, painted F3-ish green and looking VERY factory.

Also a 70 GTX front clip on a 68 Charger on ebay about a month ago.

Not an interchange but i think a GTX low deck hood scoop would look good grafted into a straight 68 Coronet hood.

Still my dream...a 69 Charger roof and sails on a 65 Impala.

66 and 67 gm intermediates (chevelle/cutlass/lemans/skylark) have an almost identical roof with rear "butresses" to the 68-70 Charger.

I once parked my 68 GTX next to a 66 or 67 GTO.......... the similarities in height, length, and stance were striking

I dont like the grille...... they fixed it in 69, but ruined the tail lights

I owned one of each, I LOVE the *** end of the R/T, and I LOVE the front end and grille of the GTX......... I should have done it!, but the other car would have been butt ugly

Naw....just need to own one of each and park em pointed in different directions so you can see the best of both cars!! LOL

Keep in mind that I would buy a new roof, sails and back glass for the surgery. I have a mocked up picture somewhere, i'll see if I can locate it.
