I have an 1969 sport satellite that originally had ac. All components were removed before I purchased it. I would like to get the heat and defrost working but really don't want ac. Is there a way to do this short of replacing the firewall , heater box, controls, etc. I can use all the help I can get! Thank you

The firewall is different for an A/C car. Essentially there are more holes for the various lines. If you wanted you could just cut pieces and weld them in the holes a little bondo and presto..... non A/C look. The extra holes include the fan motor, refrigerant lines, control valve, condensate drains (2) and I think an extra mounting hole or 2. Then you will need a regular heater box and the control for the dash. both of which should be cheaper and easier to come by than the A/C ones.
