Ok, I thought I had my problem solved but it looks like I am going to need a new wiper motor after all. Does anyone have a good source for a reconditioned unit (69 roadrunner)? I can find 3 speed motors but having a hard time locating the correct year unit. I don't care about originality. Is there that much difference in the year/body motors or will any 3 speed motor work?

When my 3-speed wiper motor went out I found one on a C-body. The motor's shaft & the first little lever arm that bolts to it are "1-way". I can't remember exactly, but I think the motor shaft is square, except one side of that square is rounded off like a circle. The first little lever has a hole that matches (square with one side round) to make sure it only goes on one way. The C-body 3-speed had that rounded side on the opposite side of the square as my b-body. I took a rat-tail file to my first little lever, so now mine has TWO rounded sides and I can use either a C-body or a B-body wiper motor. I just have to watch out which way is correct to bolt it up the next time I change it, but my junkyard c-body 3-speed wiper motor has been working for 20+ years.

Passion4mopars is very knowledgeable on wiper motors. She has a lot of reference info on her website. She did mine and it looks good and works well but it took 6 months to get it back from her. I had to finally threaten to contact Paypal to get my money back. There was always some excuse. The price she quoted also went up quite a bit from her original quote. Her website led me to believe she has one on the shelf and my old motor would just be a core as I was not concerned about the numbers. Keep your short arm attached to the motor and the plastic bushing as both are expensive to replace and are specific to your car.
Hope this helps.

Kim at passion for mopars did mine. I sent her a core and I believe she rebuilt a different unit that was closer to the date for my car. She did a great job and I don't remember it taking longer than a month or two. looks great and works great. Not sure if they have any to sell outright or if you have to send her a core though.

I don't know guys, I've never bought anything from her but for every positive statement on passion, I get 2 negative. Too much negative feedback for there not to be something to it. Anyway, I have confirmed my motor is good. I have a wiring issue somewhere.

What's the motor doing/not doing to help diagnose the problem with it?
I've ruled out the motor as the problem, if you read throught the entire thread, you'll see what I've done to rule it that out but the readers digest version of what's going on is that (using the wiper switch) the wipers will move but at a snails pace. They do park normally. Please do read through the entire thread though for more. Thanks

If you have a few minutes, call me, I know we've spoken before, I have a couple questions and maybe a couple things for your to try, it'll at least narrow things down?
