I'll spare you all the details of why I need a 69 Wiper Motor for a 68 vehicle. There was apparently 2 different wiper motors for the 69 RoadRunner. One for the 4 barrel set up and one for the six pack set up. The one for the six pack set up was off set in someway to provide clearance for the big six pack air cleaner set up on a 440 motor.

I ordered one from Summit, but it turns out to the the same as the 68/69 for a 4 barrel. I need the one that allows for the six pack air cleaner.

Summit and Yearone don't have them. Neither does jegs or 440 Source. Some of you six pack lovers out there must know where you can get a new or reconditioned unit that was made for a six pack clearance.

What do the keepers of all knowledge sayeth?

It's simple. The two speed wiper sticks out, the three speed wiper is sideways and is used when air cleaner clearance is needed.

Thx - But where do I get the one where the air cleaner clearance is needed? That's my problem - mine won't clear.

You need to replace your 2 speed wiper motor with the 3 speed motor. If you can't find one, contact kim@passion4mopars.com
She can get you set up with what you need. You will need the 3 speed motor with the short rotating arm and you will also need to replace your 2 speed switch with the 3 speed switch. Wiring harness and wiper arms under the dash will all work.

Thx Hemi - That one looks a little more past it's prime than I'm looking for. Especially for the price. Looking for new or reconditioned. I do appreciate the tip though.
You can buy that one to use as a core, saving you some money. Most core charges are around $175 to $200.

thats a a good idea Car Nut. First I have to find the one I'm looking for tho. At least now I know what it looks like. Before I was in the dark. Any idea where I can find the new or reconditioned one? I sent a note to Kim (Above) Any more sources?

In my garage, I have a 2983033 3 speed wiper motor dated 295th day of 68, which is correct for early build 69 b-body's. Not sure what your build date is. It could probably be used as a core, but it is definitely going to need to be rebuilt and cleaned up. I also have an extra 2822273 wiper motor crank with the right white 3 speed bushing on it. I could probably let it go for cheaper than what I would normally ask for it, for someone on here that needs it. Just send me a pm and let me know if you need any of it.

I greatly appreciate your offer Plum! Let me see about finding a working motor and what parts they ask for a core. Ill pm you when I find something. Again APPRECIATED!

I emailed Kim - hadn't heard back yet. Do you know which years of b bodies sixpack wiper motors will fit?
