having problems with disc brake I can pump up brakes have good pedal let go of brake take lid off master cylinder and watch the fluid run back into cylinder do I have to change the distrubion block I had drums went to manual disc need help please

Distribution block needs to be one spec'd for front disc/rear drum or an adjustable style, also the residual pressure valves up front (if any) need to be removed as well.

it is the one that came with the drum brake I have a adjustable proportioning valve for the rear what is one spec

Well, now, why do think that the fluid is flowing backwards? You can't compress a liquid but you can compress air. The cylinders at the wheels ( drum or disk) would have to be pushing the fluid back from whence it came and if that were the case, every master on every car would be overflowing after every stop. You either have a serious pocket of air or a faulty master. I doubt a drum/drum master will work properly on a drum/disk setup. Turn that manual prop valve all the way in and out to isolate the front and rear systems one at a time and find out which system is causing the problem. Hope you plumbed it correctly with a split master and bled the master before installation.
