The frame rails are very nice and solid. Complete rear components.
The inner wheel wells are rust free. The spare tire area and trunk floor are decent though some holes are highlighted. This is located in northern Illinois and pickup is preferred, but let’s talk. The unit is $670 and maybe we could meet somewhere in between.

I would also consider trades of ‘68-‘70 B-body rear frame rails, trunk pan or maybe something else. Thanks

haywire.....theoretically these framerails can be used for 68-70. They are the same contour but the main differences are where the fuel tank mounts and the holes for the fuel fillers. There are a few other holes around the exhaust hangar are that are a little different also, but the overall length, rise above the axle, width of the channels, width between the rails are all the same from 66-70. I have a 67 4 door that I dropped a 69 charger trunk floor pan in and it fit like a glove. I ran a 69 exhaust out the back of my car and the only "issue" I had was mounting the exhaust tips as the factory hanger slots didn't seem to be in the right location.....that was really easy to get around. If you are looking for "factory correct" rails for your model year then by all means go for the correct year but if you are looking for functional rails....you already have the solution in hand.

Now that’s something I didn’t know and wow now I gotta think this out. Question for you dsd1967@ are the Dodge and Plymouth frame rails interchangeable, I know some body panels are not?

Haywire, Yes dodge and Plymouth are the same underneath from 66-70 for the most part....2 door and 4 door. The exceptions/variations come in the trunk drop-offs and outer wheel houses and of course the 66-67 trunk floor varies from the 68-70 design...and of course chargers got their own trunk floor. The 66-67's actually had a 2 piece trunk floor.

Interchangeability starting from the front is....core support, inner fenders, frame rails, upper and lower cowl, floor pans, inner and outer hinge pillars, inner and outer rockers (4 doors are slightly different due to the b pillar indentation) rear floor pans, rear seat pans, Inner wheel tubs and rear frame rails with some minor differences as discussed previously.

The dodges did have a 1" longer wheelbase but that was all done with the front spring hanger...it moved the front spring mounting hole back one inch. The rear shackle hole remained in the same location.

I am not as familiar with the wagons...but I think everything from the front floor sections forward is interchangeable....I just don't know about from the rear floor sections back.

This is great and helpful info dsd1967. I thank you and I really appreciate this site with all the knowledge here. And the folks behind it all. My day is much better, and it was good before all of this!
