What a sad, sad day.
I saw him on 3 separate occasions (the last being about 4 or 5 years ago) and cried each time because I laughed so hard. Each time I saw him there was some fool in the audience that thought he could go head to head with him. Silly people...they always lost, however, the rest of us in the audience won. The final show while still hilarious was also a little sad to watch. He was clearly showing his age and had great difficulty moving about the stage and needed help for some of his more physical schtick.

Mr. Rickles... his contribution and impact to the field of comedy & entertainment cannot be overstated. He is truly a giant of his genre. He will not R.I.P., he will cause a ruckus wherever he is ! Thank you for the laughter you gave to us all through the years.
