CHRISTINE may have had Arnie Cunningham under her subliminal spell, but my '65 Dodge, long nicknamed MR.HYDE, has me wrapped up in plain sight.

Since most of you know how maniacally maddening this car project has become, it's only proper that this announcement be made here. After all, some of you, if not all of you who have been contributing or just reading the "Elephant in the Room" thread in the race section are co-conspirators. How is that? by virtue of your support in kind words, high fives, exchanged ideas, debates and rolled eye rebukes. So with that, I thank you all along with this fantastic website.

Several months ago, I got the call...........

The '65 is going to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago, Il.

Many thanks to the MCACN team for offering to display and reveal it to the world at what is unapologetically the world's premier Muscle car and Factory race car invitational.
Whereas this car mostly came out and operated in the dark years ago, now folks can see this thing up close, front and center in the lights, straight out of NYC's secret society of str==t racers.

I won't say much more other than that it's beyond exciting to be invited to this prestigious event after a few months of planning.
A lot of help and referral came from Jim Kramer over at Kramer Automotive Specialties along with late, late night calls on the HOTline with RMCHRGR here, who stood witness to the conversations coming to life on the floor at last year's event.

For those of you that are out in the midwest or elsewhere and planning to attend, drop in and say: "Hey! I know what you did last summer" LOL.
At the very least, y'all will not be disappointed by all the other super rare 4 wheel treasures taking over the entire convention floor.
That being said, this year's event is a tip off and deep SEE dive into the year 1965. It promises to be a stellar presentation to say the least in that '65 has been in the books as an unprecedented turning point for the industry.

As for the subject on the midnight skunk works at the hands of those mad factory monks? This car follows in their footsteps and may have brung it up a bunch.

Till then.

We first tried putting this announcement in this very forum for shows and events and for some reason there was no "Post thread" option on the screen. Oh well. It's here in its rightful place.

Congrats, FMJ! I hope to make it this year - I didn't make it last year.

Thank you 66chargerHi-PO
I hope to walk the aisle's as well to see what has been unearthed, discovered and recovered. It should be a party for sure.
Last year which was my first year, I was floored on the floor by what was in store.
