Don't worry about WWIII

I had an old Mercedes Diesel and I figured that when I crawled out of the bomb shelter I could go anywhere!

I could use the Max. It still has a dual point Autolite. Just finding enough 110 octane fuel is the issue!

He is right. I figure my stockpile of working, mostly drivable old Mopars will make me a target of every knowledgeable thug as I cruise to the store to salvage whatever I didn't take earlier.
Figure if I have enough guns and booze, I can protect myself, and the booze is for trade for most everything else...

I have the Charger, the Satellite, and carbureted motorcycles.

I also have my 24v Cummins. It has a computer, but I could convert it to mechanical injection easily enough (or just make sure the electronics are unhooked if EMP happens). It'll run on freakin' heating oil if need be...

When my Mercedes Diesel was my daily driver there was a local gas station that had heating oil at the pump behind the fence so you couldn't see me filling up! I also ran kerosene and I would joke that I could run Bunker C if I had to!

...I miss my deuce-and-a-half...that Hercules multifuel engine ROCKED. Diesel. Unleaded. Heating oil. Kerosene. Used motor oil (actually recommended in the manual, run a gallon of UMO in every tank to lube the pumps). Hell...I ran citronella in it so the exhaust kept the skeeters away while I was working in the field clearing land! Slower than molasses in January, but it'd pull a freakin' house.

I should touch base with my former father-in-law, see if he still has it...

That video has over a quarter of a million views.
Uncle Tony covered it .

When Max was parked next to the Diesel I told people I had both ends of the Acceleration Curve!
