Hi guys does any one know where i can buy a complete set of door and window seal parts for 69 Super Bee 2 dr ht any help i am not abler to locate this Thanks William
@Osoroho , is your originals torn or missing? If the originals are still on the car and in good shape, I would suggest reusing them. We have been manufacturing and providing various weatherstripping for these cars for close to 30 years and it is hard to beat the factory pieces.
Most all of the vendors will sell Metro. Some will sell Soff Seal. If you should decide to purchase the Steele seals, it is much tougher to find a secondary vendor for Steele due to their wholesale agreements. We sell all three manufacturers as different customers have different needs.
We also feel that the Steele roof rail seal is the better seal for certain applications where the Metro offers a better door seal and Soff Seal offers the better quarter glass seal. That is why we stock a variety of manufacturers product as each has its own pluses and minuses.
That is where it is important to deal with a supplier with first hand knowledge of the particular car and the various options. Pricing between Metro and Soff Seal is pretty comparable. Steele will be two to three times the price of the Metro and Soff Seal. No one company makes all of the product. Just because they advertise it as their own product, they all buy from each other to have product coverage.
Drop me a message and I will attempt to answer any concerns or questions.
Richard, aka 69bfan, is the guy you want to deal with, he's this guy ^^^^^^^^^^. He has great product knowledge, he knows Mopars, and he comes with the added benefits of being a site sponsor and an all-around good guy to deal with.
