my 68 Charger has outside chrome trims with felt, which touches the door glass going up and down. Is there also supposed to be “inner felts/trim on inside of the glass? If so, what are they called and where to get?
Thanks in advance.

I did see those, but I’m not sure. Since my “outer” felts have a chrome trim, i thought maybe the inners would have the same?
I need to find a picture of a car with everything on it to see what I’m missing

First of all, the outers are not felt - they are rubber - like squeegees - and yes, they contact the glass to minimize what gets down into the doors. The inners are felts.

Whether they have chrome or not will depend on your make/model - mayube even the manufacturer.

They should all come together in a "catwhiskers" kit.

As mentioned, i have a 68 charger…my “outers” are not rubber, they “feel like felt”… i will search for “cat whiskers “

Short, soft bristle material as used on the inside is often sold for the outer trim instead of rubber. But I believe OEM was rubber. I wouldn’t worry about changing them unless the car will be out in the weather a lot or being judged at shows.

Topcat is a good brand for beltline whiskers. Bought a couple sets (Topcat) from herbsparts for 66/67 b bodies and both sides were felt type material. Not sure if the 68 would be different. You could give them a call and ask. Their prices are pretty good too. I'd pass on the PUI brand. The thing some people don't like about the rubber ones is they can stick to window when you're trying to roll it down.

I'd be surprised if you can only find the insides. Probably have to buy a set.
