Door Hinge / Quick Release

Hey friends. My 68 is getting some weight reduction. Will be putting fiberglass doors on in the near future.

What are you guys using for quick releases to remove the door to put the car in the trailer? I’ve seen them in the past where they’re just tangs that hang off the door into a hole bracket, or if there’s a kit out there that I can’t seem to find that’s as simple as just installing.

Brownie points if I can fabricate it myself.

They make universal parts. But getting the geomwtry correct can be a pain. The pivot pin must be in the factory location (in/out and forward /back) for correct fit.
